What is included:
The prototype for sale is in used condition and does not include a sheath. It is a one of a kind. The original knife was specified to be D2, There is hand jimping along three of the curves. The knife shows significant finish wear due to carrying and testing, The maker was Roger Hatt but the knife does not have a maker's mark. I do not mention his name in order to try and profit off his name as I consider him a friend. I disclose the maker to give credit and respect where it is due. The design is a Grip Works Designs LLC design . This Gen 1 design enables the user to use the knife as one normally would with blade tip forward and edge down as well as blade tip forward and edge up. It is designed to be held in reverse grip-reverse edge orientation for using as a defensive tool in one's off hand while the person's strong hand is busy retaining a duty firearm. (weapon retention). It is not a double edge design as many law enforcement agencies do not provide authorization for double edged knifes for duty use. Knife overall length is approximately 6.5" long with a sharpened approximately 2 1/16" single edge blade. The knife is about 2" at its widest area and about 3/16" thick. This is being sold as a collectible knife for $265. Current duty use versions are hoped to be made available late 2026.
